The Azimuth Project
Graham Jones

I completed a PhD in pure maths in 1983. I have been self-employed for almost all the time since then, as a landscape artist and a computer programmer. From 1996 I wrote and then marketed a music OCR program called SharpEye. I transferred rights in SharpEye to another business in 2006. Since then I have taught myself about bioinformatics and mathematical and computational biology, especially phylogenetic analysis and macroevolution. I published two articles in this area, which led to working for the University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 2011-2012 on the evolution of allopolyploids. For more details, see my web site.

I have been concerned about environmental issues since around 1980. I am a member of the Azimuth Forum.
